Unsettled Infant Support

When a baby cries or fusses frequently, it can be difficult to know what support your family needs, particularly when you are surrounded by conflicting advice about reflux, colic, allergies, feeding and sleep.

At The Possums Clinic, we take a whole-baby, whole-family approach to unsettled infant behaviour including maternal health and wellbeing, feeding, sleep, sensory-motor needs and your baby’s physical health.

There are often modifiable factors that can make a meaningful difference to how manageable everyday life feels for your family. Our role is to help you understand what may be contributing to your baby’s unsettled behaviour, reduce the overwhelm of conflicting information, and develop practical strategies that work for your individual family.

Our approach to unsettled infant behaviour has been shown to significantly reduce crying time in babies, while helping families feel more confident and supported in their everyday lives (see more below).
